Overall the Marantz line had the higher quality sound with few exceptions. One receiver that always stuck in my mind was the Pioneer SX-750. One fine sounding and looking receiver. But the 2252b would beat it.There really is little difference between the 2252b and 2265b, except some funtion switches.
