Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

I have settled on the 2265B with a 2270 as backup.

Both are great sounding receivers. But the 2265B has a more sensitive and selective tuner. The 2230 is also a good choice with the proper speakers. Over the years, I have tried Pioneers, Kenwoods, Sansui, Luxman, Carvers etc. But the Maramtz line from the 70s provided better sound with both vinyl and CDs.
