Issues with Marantz 2330B. Need help.

Finally was able to hook up my 2330B. The most "top of the line" bummer. No sound. Well there is sound but it is not amplified. With the volume control all the way up I can hear barely audible signal with a constant electrical hum. Have not deox or cleaned any contacts. But, I'm thinking this is beyond deox and slider lube. Test on FM, AM and Phone section. Results all the same.
Note: This is European model and the voltage selector is set to 120v. Did pull the case off, however nothing obvious.
Where should I start or since I am in no way an electrical engineer should I put her back together and search for a qualified tech.
