Greetings all,
I posted earlier on a pair of well used pioneer hpm 100 speakers. I lugged them into the house and played them for a couple of hours last night, carefully setting aside my cs99a's It looks a little warehousy in the living room right now, my late wife is probably rolling a bit, but anyway..
I am impressed. In fact, I had to adjust the treble down a little as I have been so used to a more base dominated, rolled off sound. These speakers have a lot of definition and detail. This feels like a speaker more made for rock than jazz, but with the treble adjusted down a little, Miles shines as well!
I will pull the one different looking midrange to make sure it is stock or appropriate replacement, maybe I'll post a pic for help.thanks for your input
