the 12 is a 3 way with 2 mid ranges so i suspect the mids are a little different from the 2 way KLHs. I know Gordon Holt did a review in the 60s in Stereophile and it got a very good but not perfect review because Gordon wasn't so hot on the overall balance though Gordon later changed his mind a bit when he changed his seat at the Philadelphia Academy of Music and the balance was like the new seat. I believe it was one of Kloss's last designs before he left KLH.
