Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

They're kind of cheap and nasty.

I can't find any names other than "made in Japan" on the L-pads. There are four 6" X 4" oval speakers in each one, wired in series pairs, each pair with its own pair of screw terminals on the back. No insulation in the case, no crossover parts, 6.2 to 6.8 ohms across each terminal pair with the L-pads taken out of circuit, and they don't weigh much.

I'm going to try them as jam space PA speakers running vocals only through them. Hooked up to a stereo, there's a definite lack of bass and "high end", in both senses of the word. It's weird, the quality of the veneer is way better than the drivers by the looks of it.
