I'm not really a vintage guy (unless you count my age), but I do check in here from time to time. I recently sent my Aragon 2004 Mk. II power amp to the factory for a checkup and new speaker terminals. I had an old CR-800 in the closet and realized it had separate pre-out/amp-in plugs. So I've been using it as a power amp for about a week now, and if you held a gun to my head, I'm not at all sure I could tell the Yammie from the Aragon. From what I gather by Googling, the CR-800 puts out about 55 watts per channel, and that seems more than enough to compete well with the Aragon's 100 watts. Just thought some of you might be interested. THANKS.
