MC-225 issues

I'm getting ready to do some work on my MC-225 and have a few questions.
The first issue is that the metal disc, part of the thermistor, has come off from the rest of the thermistor. How should this be reattach to the rest of the thermistor?
I also want to address the power supply caps and found an Ebay seller that sells the necessary caps and misc. other items for the PS. Does this look like a good way to go?
