Re: Sherwood 5000

Those are fabulous amps and the 5000 series with either 7591s or el84s are my favorite of the sherwood integrateds.You need to put paper in oil caps in them and change seleniums and filter caps should be changed to new low esr type like what jim mcshane sells in the F&T or JJ or the like. Telefunkens or certain mullards in the preamp is best and you may have those already in it.
