If the unit is in good physical condition,chances are its major transformers and choke is good..I have NEVER come across a mac mc60 that wasnt repaiable and I had one that was imersed in 4 inches of basement water and I still got it up and playing..
If you want piece of mind I can take resistance readings off one of my mc60s primary to secondary of the out trans and across the primaries plate to supply and give you those readings..I dont think its necessary tho because the only mac amps I have ever changed trannies on was the mc30s and thats because people put the wrong tubes in them or run them with low neg bias casuing the 6l6s to overheat and pull too much current.
