Phillips 212 turntable motor

Everything mentioned about the Phillips Electronic Turntable is true. Burning light bulbs, belt drive replacement, excellent Euro industrial design, overall a good TT, price vs. performance. Only one thing that plagued my 212 was the motor replacement. I replaced the motor a couple of times. Also had to abandon the stock cartridge 412 in which I coud find a replacement. The cartridge became a discontinued item and this was way before the WWW. Sold the 212 last year for $15.00 CND but I did keep the manual. Kind-a-miss it, now. Graduated up to a SL1200 Mk2.
