It's never been easy to find the right belt.
I got a 20" belt for my Thorens TD-125MKII, and it's too tight. During start up, it made the clicking noise, sounded like clutch is slipping, then I have to adjust the speed faster to compensate the heavier load on the motor, then the wider belt is rubbing on the belt path bracket by the motor.
Now the belt is on my homemade belt stretcher, hope that it'll make it work.
