Don't be so quick to discount this amp. Yes the output iron is small, so yes undistorted power is low and the low bass and high treble are rolled off. BUT- the midrange is outstanding !

The tuner premap sounds ok- best to use for the tuner only. The preamp is nothing to write home about.

Caveats: because both pieces were designed to work in tandem, the ON-OFF switch is on the tuner-pre, which closes a circuit connection on the amp. The tuner-pre draws power from the amp through an umbilical cord, thus the amp will produce too much voltage without the additional load of the other component.

For safe long term operation of the amp, the usual restoration work will be needed (ps and coupling caps, out of spec resistors etc) + adding a power switch or closing the circuit -and- adding dropping resistors to replace the missing load from the tuner-pre.

Do the needed work and you will be happy- or sell it on Ebay for $100-120 in profit.
