About 15 years ago there was a company that came out with a series of original horror and sci-fi programs produced on cassette, all recorded in binaural sound. I got review copies and the effects were incredible on headphones, but it never caught on.Does anyone know about the history and/or technology of binaural recording? Was this just another fad, or does it still have potential for high-fidelity music recording/playback purposes?
