Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Thanks Brian

I should go through it and replace some of the caps - just have to figure out if I want to do it or if I should send it off to Audio Classics or DeWick. The 2100 is real easy to work on, so I can't imagine it would be all that expensive if I decided to have a pro do the work.

When I had it apart I was measuring various power supply voltages that were about 10% higher than what was stated in the service manual. I assume this is due to my wall voltage being 123VAC (the 2100 is rated for 117VAC) causing an increase in operating voltages throughout the amp. I don't know if the 2100 is designed to operated within these limits or if I should build a step down box (with a power switch and NTC thermistor) for the 2100 to bring the AC mains voltage down to ~115VAC. Having a switch alone is worth the trouble in building this, and I have all of the parts already.
