Terry dewick does a lot of tuners but I do the solid state ones myself..Your mr74 is better than your 113 because your mx113 is the mr73 tuner and that isnt quite as open sounding not to mention it shares the Power supply with the preamp..Many of the mr73 and mx113 parts I cant get like the J-fet rf amp in the AM section not to mention the FM ratio detector IC..I have been waiting for one for ages and I finally got it after 6 months and a lot of pissing and moaning.
On your mr 74 I can give you a list of caps to change.Get rid of the tantalums in there and put in nichicon muse and you can use the non polarized ones if you wish.You also should change the opto coupler as they frequently fail and they are only 9 dollars for the kit.
