It seems that when word about a great vintage piece gets "around"
The price goes crazy - I remember when you could get Dyna 70's
for the price of scrap ...Anything now is over $350when the Marantz 7 C got hot- it was because Tom Holman
told the Boston Audio Society that it was the preamp with the best
sounding phono sections ( until he released his own)Well now so-so tuners are $250 - better are $500 - the best go
$750 and up to $ 2000 - for an out-moded medium -no less!
