Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Re: Warfedale super 12 as/al woofer

Either could be true if the only evidence you had was the ebay data. I'm also basing my my statement on my experience with Warfdale(I own 2 pairs of vintage Wafdales, W90 and W60), my experience with other equipment that Jerry has posted on that I have also heard, and other peoples posting about Warfdale full-range drivers (primarily in the High Efficiency Asylum). Note that my statement was not definitive because I have not head a Warfedale full-range driver. Having sold high-end audio in the 80's, I don't necessarily put stock in what the lemmings flock to. If I were to believe that, I would think that 200-Watt receivers must be the best thing out there.
