Interesting speaker find today!

Today I found at our local thrift shop another pair of Zenith allegro's in almost mint shape for $6.99 a pair + taxs of course! These are the Zenith Allegro 1000 and are the smallest version of the Allegro series from that period! The back reads as follows 6 1/2" Woofer
3 1/2 " Horn Tweeter
Crossover frequncey 2500 htz.
Allegro port
System Tuned Resonance 60 htz.
Maximum power rating 30 Watts RMS
Impedance 8 ohms
Using EIA Noise Signal
Zenith Radio Corpration Chicago Illinos USA
I do know they weight 10# each on the bathroom scale!
Any how they sound good on my Superscope system, but do not have as good of bass as the Allegro 3000's I picked up a couple of months ago!
Anyone else ever hear a pair of these? I knew of the 2000 and 3000 series of Allegro speakers but never seen or heard of the 1000's before!Brian McGowan
