Gee, I just gave one to a friend of mine for his son. 7175PE that replaced an Audio Research SS amp/Apt preamp in 1986. I kept it as a spare, but I have newer spares and why should it collect dust.

It was quite powerful, 75 wpc and soft clipping and could drive PSB strat gold's but a bit loose in the bass for that speaker. I think the amp section was designed to drive acoustic suspension speakers.

I had it repaired twice. Once in 1991 for a resistor in the power supply and a few years ago I had the switches cleaned and the tuner realigned. The repairman said it looked real good and could last for another twenty years.
