Just converted my Mark 3 to triode mode, I am using the SDS/triodelectronics pcb. Per instructions, the UL tap still feeds back to eyelet 4 (11 and 14 for ST-70). In other words, the lower UL tap is still used for phase compensation. My question is this: should anything else be done with this feedback path? Does the phase compensation behave at upper frequencies even though the UL tap is not fed to the screen grid anymore?I guess I better check it on the oscilloscope again.
