Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

I know it's not vintage, but...

I got the Behringer DEQ2496 for about $230 including tax at a local Guitar Center. With 1/3 octave graphic EQ, parametric EQ's and RTA (and many other things that don't seem as useful for home audio) I think it's worth considering. I connect my DVD and CD with digital inputs and use the analog input for the tuner. When I get my tube phono built I'll have to add some switching for the analog input.

I'm not trying to talk you out of analog EQ, but this unit sure packs a punch for a reasonable price and I think it's DAC's sound better than either of the digital sources.

Regards,
John
