Wooden fretwork grills and in nice shape except for some very minor damage to the veneer at the bottom of one speaker. The price was $550.I would have had to rent a truck and get some help, not to mention get them up 3 flights of stairs to my 1-br condo.
These were at an estate sale and priced at $800. I put in a bid for $530 and left. I got 10 feet down the walk and the lady running the sale called me back. She said there was another bid for $525, and I could have them for $550. After discussing the logistics, I had to pass.
I don't think I could keep these speakers. I'll see if she calls back after the sale and wants to negotiate. It would be worth the hassle if I could get them for $400.
