Re: need recs on how to maintain a Sherwood S-7300 receiver

I have the S-7300 too...Bought it off ebay a few years ago. I haven't touched it--it works fine. I have the service manual too but not much in it. The only caution is to be careful using the on-off volume switch as they age, as there is plastic part that can break and they are tough to find.

These units are at least equal to the bigger Marantz and Pioneer of the period, but have less of a following. I pd about $30 for mine as I recall.
