Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

I agree about the 2265B. However, I also had the

2270 and 2238B which I liked very much. I gave them both to my brother who raves about the 2270. I kept the 2265B because it had a sllightly better tuner, and also had all those filters and tone-shaping controls, which I don't use very much, but are nice to have and look impressive to visitors. The sound of the 2265B is great - especially with older CDs that sound harsh and fatiguing on other systems.
