Re: Using Fisher 400C with mono cabinet

Easiest & simplest is to use a separate Satellite speaker for one channel, retaining stereo operation (as was often done when Stereo 1st arrived & Mono systems allready existed. OR place a dummy load (Radio Shack has a 20 watt/8 ohm power resistor ideal for this) across one channel's speaker terminals. Connect the other channel to the cabinet speaker(s). Bridging or Paralleling channels is more complicated & not suitable for some amplifiers; Search for both of those methods in the Audio Asylum archives & do not limit your search to just this particular forum catagory (IOW select all forums as a search criteria).
