Re: A man with questions about NADs

Why choose the 7020 over the 7020e? Aren't they basically the same, other than one having a digital tuner and the other an analog tuner?

If I were looking for old NAD equipment, I would stick with the earliest series from the late 70's and early 80s. I have always found the sound of the later "power envelope" units a bit harsh though some people seem to like them. I would look for a 7020, (but not the later 7020e), 7030, 7045, 6060 or 7080.
