Boy, is your testing procedure flawed, or what.If you want to test the intelligence of a dog, you watch the dog when a car comes by on the street. When a car comes down the street, all cats and all stupid dogs watch the nearest corner of the vehicle as it passes by. All smart dogs look at the driver.
When wives see sound systems, they only look at the speakers. So, your testing precedure offered your wife the option of two 3cuft boxes full of crap, two 2x4ft panels with crap smeared on them and a 2cuft box full of crap in between them, or two 1cuft boxes full of crap that she already knows will fit in a smaller room.
