I agree with you. However, I don't even know how to go about finding such things locally... I check craigslist, ebay, audiogon... and really nothing in my area (houston). I would almost *have* to buy used on one of those sites and pray that it works when it gets here. :/

What about the NAD 7000? It seems to fit what you said.
