I was hoping that the vintage equipment would have a *slightly* warmer sound, though... and possibly a better tuner.I heard a new NAD receiver at my dealer's showroom with a set of Monitor Audio towers and it sounded pretty good. I didn't notice anything wrong with it during the short time I played with it. It was probably a C720BEE.
I am not worried about the vintage lacking power... my speakers are pretty efficient... 50-60w would do me fine in a NAD receiver even for the future.
