Re: David bogen company

I kind of took it away from topic.
The guy asked about HiFi, and Challangers seem to all be low powered Mic and monitor amps.
I shouldn't have speculated who bought what.
In 1947 and 1949, David Bogen Co. is at,
663 Broadway NY
In 1949, Challanger Amplifier Corp. is at,
663 Broadway NY
In the early 50's Bogen is on 29'th Ave.
I don't know if that's just offices or what.
But I swear I've seen a schem or amp that had,"Challanger *By* Bogen".
Pictures are always cool, but the OP was asking about the freaky circuits with freaky tubes ;-)
Challanger was making some battery powered, and ACDC stuff in the forties.
A SE 6L6 amp 6A @ 6VDC, and a PP 6V6 with turntable on top 14A @ 6VDC.
