100% Tung oil

I've used 100% Tung oil since the 70's, and found the following source to be of great quality and reasonably priced. I prefer applying with #0000 steel wool, and as a few have mentioned a fine sand will assist in producing a fine luster. Instead of sand I prefer "Rottenstone", an extra fine abrasive powder that works very well. I keep both dark and light 100% Tung oil on hand, and often blend the two to obtain the proper effect for the job. 100% tung oil is very environmentally friendly, it is recommended as a finish for wooden cutting boards.
