Light cones, very powerful motors, very linear motors with short coils in long gaps. Good way to make woofers if you don't mind a big box.I value my Altec woofers though more for their superb upper bass and lower midrange than for their lower bass. That's where Altec really shines, between 100hz and 10,000hz.
