Good to know about the Polk 4s

I know I always liked them hooked up to my amp I use for video. I tried them yesterday in place of the Polk 10s and the mids and highs sounded surprisingly similar, so I figured they might be a good choice.

I do enjoy good sound with video, but I'm just a 2 channel kinda guy. Music's the main thing & I'd hate to give up my Marantz amp & Phase Linear pre for a HT receiver. The kind of preamp I was thinking of was along the lines of a Denon, Nakamichi, Onkyo Integra, or something like that.

Any recommendations for a really good stereo preamp with MM phono inputs and remote?

Cheers & thanks!
Bobbo :-)
