Home Vintage Asylum

Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

Thanks...

I will call the company and inquire about upgrades. Even after reading their website I am not sure I understand all the options.

Some upgrades seem to be credit towards a totally new pair of current speakers, and others seem to be new drivers or new acoustic damping devices for the tweeters. It is not clear if you have to return your old speakers for credit as well.

I am still interested in opinions about how these speakers do for orchestral and choral music. Also any comments on room placement. WAF prevents putting them out very far from the wall.

I don't suppose you are the George Mann that taught biochemistry and nutrition at Vanderbilt University in the 1970s and 1980s?
