Re: One of Joe Rosen's favorites (actually two of them)

I think I paid about $170 for it initially. The first fellow to work on it stuffed it with all sorts of caps;I asked for minimal freshening and restoration, but it ended up heavily modded and with a mutilated chassis that had big holes in it. It hummed like crazy, and Otho wasn't able to fix it. Norman's Electronics also failed.

Ziolkowski was horrified by what he saw and swapped out the chassis for what he said was a good rebuilt one. It also buzzed, I sent it back, Ziolkowski worked on it agin, said it was fixed but it still buzzed. I sent it to Mr. Hardy, but he could only get about a 6dB decrease in buzz from it.
