...'Buy-It-Now' for more expensive items. The scammers are pressing the BIN button, then wanting to renegotiate the terms (such as overpay via money order with the excess refunded, etc). This instantly kills the auction and all the good bids. Happened three times on a $1,500 BIN item a friend had for sale; each time it was a mess for him to unwind. He also spotted his item (with his pic) offered in another auction with the exact same description he had written!
