Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

when I was 10 or 11, I had a conversation with a dump truck driver

who told me how people threw stereo stuff out into the garbage. Obviously, that piece of information changed my life forever.

Soon after my conversation, I found a speaker, old JBL or something. I went and took my clock radio apart and attached my new speaker. Voila! I discovered that speakers made a big difference in sound. Of course now my tastes are more refined. I use two speakers from the trash hooked up to a pair of 1930's for runners of the clock radio.
