Need Linn Ittok II repaired, any suggestions?

My Linn Ittok tonearm has a broken pin underneat. Linn charges around $400 plus shipping to UK to repair. I'm wondering if there might be a cheaper soloution. Does anyone have any ideas? As it is, the tonearm buzzes or humes, like a broken ground.
