in case anyone here is interested in the notorious "balance control" in some Magnavox console amps

Snapped a few photos of a stereo Magnavox 6V6PP console power amp modified for standalone operation. The "trick" on some of these amps (taught to me by folks on the "Magnavox" Yahoo group as well as some nice AA folks -- see link below) is to replace the missing "balance" control (750 ohm pot) with a pair of grounded 390 or so ohm resistors to complete the feedback loops for the two channels. Without these little guys, the amp works but with very little gain.
