some people can get along with less power ,depends on your spks.are they 1ohm,4ohm,or 8ohm,,im using a pair of dahlquist dq10,s from the 70,s==these were considered amp eaters==also have a pair of magnapan,these also need plenty of juice==now i also have a pair of klipsch heresy,s==can run these easily with a yamaha receiver only rated at 30 watts==thanks doublel@mwt.net
