Curbside Score: Incredible Sansui AU-D9 integrated amplifier

Hello fellow scroungers:

While driving around town the morning after some heavy rains, I spotted a piece of audio gear, which someone had propped up on the top of a mirrored cubical stand. All of this was right on the street, mind you!

The piece was none other than a Sansui AU-D9 integrated amplifier, manufactured from between 1979-80 approximately.

The AU-D9 is one of the classic Sansui amps featuring their "feed-forward" circuitry.

The rosewood cabinet is a bit rough and the controls needed to be sprayed out a bit, but darnit! It worked!

95 watts (RMS) per channel into an 8 ohm load with .005 % total harmonic distortion? Nice!
