What a great post! You have to have earned the perseverance award. I'm glad that my posts helped. I don't think the inverted surrounds will really hurt anything, and it's a lot of trouble to redo. Wait 12-15 years and do it the other way next time. You certainly have the only walnut veneer utility cabinets in existence.I was listening to mine today and the sound is really wonderful. perhaps not the most "exciting" or "involving" (reviewer speak), but accurate and natural and you can listen for hours.
