It's funny, I've been in this hobby 40 some odd years. I remember back in the late sixties/ early seventies the vintage gear that has been praised for it's musicality now was called crap back then. Take for instance the Marantz SS intergateds and recievers. So what happened? Did they mellow out like a fine wine? I dunno !
