The 4312A is not an L100. The L100 gave JBL a reputation as a rock only speaker but that is not true of many of their studio speakers. I have found that many older JBL speakers do very well with classical (I have not heard the 4312A but owned Lancer 77 speakers for a while). I would tread carefully and keep you JBLs for a while if you try something new. They look good on paper! (See below.)Dave
