If you have a multi-meter, read it's instuctions per making continuity measurements. As when the meter is set for High resistance measurements, touching both probes together should indicate Zero or very low resistance = continuity; & likewise with any circut or winding when probes measure across. IF this is a tapped inductor, any one wire lead will show continuity with all other wire leads. However, IF this were a Transformer, there would be NO continuity between separate primary & secondary windings.
