Re: RCA MX7 Receiver

Was this the model with 4 x 6973 outputs? If it was, it seems like 10 watts per channel is VERY conservative.

RCA DESIGNED the 6973 and created circuits for it to sell them, so this makes me wonder if THEY used this tube differently than OTHER people did (most notably Jukebox and Guitar amplifier people.)

My understanding was that a pair of them would put out 15-18/ish? I'm always interested in the 6973 and it's uses, so if anyone has more info or can correct me, please chime in!!
