A shot of DexOxit on this panel may cure the problem, specially if there's a ribbon connector involved. Cold solder joints on the PCB containing the LEDs is also a possibility.
It's a good idea to spray DeOxit liberally on controls and other connections. Be careful with the front end variable capacitor though. Spraying it with DeOxit may cause temporary misalignment until the liquid dries.
