From what I recall, it's mostly basic things like upgrading the power supply. It also shows the correct de-emphasis circuit, submitted by David Burning (that name may be spelled incorrectly). Apparently Dynaco had the de-emphasis wrong, causing a rolled off top, if memory serves.
As the other posters said, you can find a lot of information on the web regarding the FM-3.
