Once the meter is showing you anything at "8" or above, the tuner is achieving full quieting--therefore the information above "8" is of no use whatsoever.It's the lower part of the range that's of importance when you're aiming your antenna. In this area--the only one that matters--the meter works just dandy. Tens of thousands of past and present tuner owners agree. Remember, mechanical meters with the same "limitation" were the only kind you could get for decades.
